To successfully interact with our surroundings, we integrate sensory information to inform and adjust our hand movements. For a person with a brain or spinal cord injury, part of the network that facilitates sensori-motor integration can become disrupted.  My research is focused on mechanisms of motor learning that facilitate the recovery of hand function with a long term goal of impacting rehabilitation following a neural injury.
